I’m delighted to announce that Lindsey Elder has been appointed as the new Managing Director of James Douglas Limited.
Lindsey joins us at a pivotal time, as we embrace our recent transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) — a move that reflects our long-term commitment to our people, our values, and our continued presence in Hertford. She brings with her a wealth of experience, insight, and passion for driving sustainable growth, people-first leadership, and collaborative success, making her an excellent fit for this next chapter of James Douglas Limited
A Natural Fit for the Future of James Douglas
Lindsey has a strong background in commercial, operational & regulatory leadership within the toiletries, cosmetics & pharmaceutical sectors. Her experience working with cosmetic brands and contract manufacturers makes her a natural for the role with James Douglas Limited.
Lindsey will work closely with Mike Hawkes, who has been Managing Director at James Douglas for 19 years, to ensure that the transition happens smoothly. He continues to work within the business as Chairman and a Trustee of the holding EOT company.
